Join us for Hosanna Academy’s STEAM Fest, a dynamic summer experience where students in 1st–5th grade explore, create, and discover through hands-on, faith-centered learning. Each week is designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and connect students to both knowledge and heritage.

🎡 STEAM Fest: Carnival

June 15–19 (Monday–Friday)
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Step right up for a week of creativity and fun! During Carnival Week, students will explore STEAM through exciting, hands-on activities that blend science, art, cooking, and performance with the joy of carnival games and experiences.

From designing and creating to exploring how things work, students will engage in curiosity-driven learning that feels like play—but builds real skills.

And on Friday a Juneteenth Carnival Celebration!!

🎷 STEAM Fest: Harlem Renaissance

June 22–26 (Monday–Friday)
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Travel back to one of the most influential cultural movements in history. Through a STEAM lens, students will explore the Harlem Renaissance by engaging in creative projects that connect history, music, art, and innovation.

🎨 STEAM Fest: American Mosaic

June 29th-July 2nd (Monday-Thursday)

9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

During this week of STEAM Fest, students will explore “The American Mosaic,” discovering how diverse people, cultures, and ideas have shaped innovation, creativity, and everyday life in the United States.

Through hands-on activities, students will learn how contributions in science, technology, music, art, and food reflect the blending of cultures and experiences that make up American society. Students will engage in design challenges, creative expression, and collaborative projects that highlight innovation and problem-solving.

🎡 SUMMER Fest: Joseph Bologne

July 6th -July 10th

During this special week of STEAM Fest, students will explore the life and legacy of Joseph Bologne, an extraordinary musician, composer, and leader of African and French heritage. Through hands-on, interdisciplinary learning, students will discover how his life connects music, culture, discipline, and excellence.

Students will engage in a wide range of activities that bring learning to life, including:

  • Exploring the cultures of Senegal and France through geography, art, and storytelling
  • Introduction to the violin and musical expression
  • African dance and movement to build rhythm and coordination
  • Visual art projects inspired by historical and cultural themes
  • Lessons in etiquette and character, emphasizing confidence, respect, and self-discipline
