At Hosanna Academy, we believe every child deserves opportunities to explore their gifts, grow their confidence, and experience the joy of learning. While our microschool curriculum is faith-based, our afterschool programming and community workshops are designed to serve all families in the community—whether or not they are enrolled at Hosanna. These programs give children meaningful ways to learn, connect, and shine.
Afterschool Sessions
Our afterschool program brings Black history to life through engaging lessons, hands-on projects, and creative activities. Students gain knowledge, confidence, and cultural pride—learning that goes beyond the classroom and helps them see their place in a larger story.
Drama and Performing Arts
Drama is a powerful tool for self-expression and collaboration. In our workshops, students explore acting, storytelling, script reading, and stage design. Through activities like Reader’s Theater, they build confidence in public speaking, strengthen literacy skills, and experience the joy of bringing stories to life.
Black History Fest
Our inaugural Black History Fest will be a vibrant, one-day celebration designed to make Black history come alive for children and families. The festival features hands-on workshops, engaging activities, and interactive exhibits that feel like stepping into a living museum. With music, storytelling, and resources that bring the past and present together, students experience Black history in ways that are fun, memorable, and meaningful. The Fest creates space for learning, pride, and community while honoring the richness and resilience of Black heritage.
At Hosanna Academy, we want to be more than a school—we want to be a resource and support for our community. These enrichment opportunities are open to all children, providing spaces where creativity, culture, and confidence can thrive.
